Today I will show you how to properly stretch a cross-stitch or needlepoint picture so that you can frame it. This service can cost a lot of money but if you have a bit of time and patience you can do it yourself!

Supplies:
The needlework to be framed
Foam core board the size you want your frame to be.
Silk pins
Fabric strips (cotton or muslin work great)
Sewing machine
ruler

Directions:
1. If your cross stitch cloth is not large enough to wrap around your foam-board you will need to sew strips of fabric on each side.
2. Center the image on the foam board.
3. Pin the cloth to the side of the foam-board on the center of each edge.
4. Add pins alternating sides until you have the cross-stitch pulled tight.
