Woman Sands Down Old Dining Room Table, Transforms The Top With Photo Collage

For anyone looking to update an old table, or really any piece of furniture with a surface, this is the way to go.

It’s called decoupaging. Don’t panic I’d never heard of it before either, but it’s a fairly easy project for even the least experienced crafters.

The definition of decoupage is to craft or decorate using paper cut-outs, and it’s as simple as that.

You’ll start by sanding down an old table to get to the original wooden surface.

Next, you’ll spray the areas you won’t be decoupaging with a color of your choice, then you’ll start with your cut-outs.

Choosing cut-outs for your table is the fun part you can put whatever images you want on the surface. How awesome would it be to eat breakfast while gazing at your favorite pictures of your puppy? Now you can find out!

Once you’ve decided on your images, you’ll need to arrange and start glueing them to the tabletop.

After you’ve glued everything down and removed excess bubbles, just add a few layers of top coat and you’re good to go.

It’s a cheap and easy way to add a completely unique piece of furniture to your home, and we absolutely love it!
