Turn A $20 Nightstand Into An Amazing Dog Feeder

P Allen. Smith bought a $20 nightstand at a yard sale. The nightstand is pretty good bargain as it is, but what he transformed it into is pretty amazing. This is a great way to upcycle old furniture or ones that you’ve bought used. Allen turns the chest into a dog feeder. It’s so clever and a great way to conceal your dog’s food so that it looks like it’s a part of the setting. If you don’t have a dog, try making this simple bird feeder!

Allen removes bothdrawers. He converts the bottom drawer to the feeder by adding an extra wooden layer that secures two bowls. He adds hinges to the top drawer so that it opens like a chest, and this is where the kibble is stored. This is a great way to control your little critter’s food intake with a few simple modifications.

Remember that you can always add your own personal touch. You can decoupage the outside with a cute print or use a three-tier drawer to use the top for kibble and the second drawer to store canned food. There are so many ways that you can use this easy hack to accommodate your needs! What do you think of this idea? Let us know in the comments.
